Dr. Amy LaRue is a Vermont-licensed naturopathic doctor, which combines modern medicine, evidence-based research and natural healing.

As an expert in alternative and complementary medicine I provide my clients with comprehensive assessments and recommendations to optimize their health. My role is to guide you through the journey to exceptional wellness and provide the tools and knowledge you need to restore vitality through natural approaches and lifestyle modifications. Navigating the world of herbal medicines, vitamins and supplements can be overwhelming and potentially harmful if not used in the correct manner. My extensive training in therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy and biochemistry allows me to view disease through a holistic lens to discover the root causes of your complaints. I am passionate about holistic health for the individual and family in which each person thrives and feels whole in mind, body and spirit. My approach is gentle, integrative and empowering.

My background in healthcare includes an bachelor’s degree from LSU in Dietetics/Premed and a doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Natural Medicine. I also have advanced training in classical homeopathy with the New England School of Homeopathy and I am certified in Holistic Pelvic CareTM.

I was born and raised in Mississippi and Texas and recently returned home with my husband and three kids to raise my babies near my family. We love spending time outside, especially at the beach and pool. I look forward to bringing natural, holistic wellness to south Mississippi.

Please note: While I can only provide the full range of my services in Vermont, I can assist you in reaching your wellness goals by educating you on how to achieve whole-body health. Due to licensing restrictions in Mississippi, I do not diagnose or treat disease nor practice dietetics but focus on health coaching that builds upon client education regarding natural remedies such as herbs and homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements and dietary and lifestyle changes clients can consider in supporting wellness and health improvements.
